Ulf W Lundin is Director of the European Schoolnet Office in Brussels and a special adviser on ICT in education to the Swedish Minister for School Education. Before taking up this position on 1 July 2000, he was Education Counsellor at the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the E.U. since 1989 and he has also held this position at the Delegation of Sweden to the OECD and the Council of Europe. 1983-1986 Ulf W Lundin served as Cultural Counsellor at the Embassy of Sweden to the U.S. in Washington D.C. after having finished a five year term as State Secretary for Education, Arts and Media in the Swedish Ministry of Education, Arts and Science.

Ulf W Lundin was the general coordinator and chairman of Board of the European Schoolnet. He is chairman of the 'Committee of the European Schoolnet' established by the Swedish Ministry of Education and Science as the legal representative of the European Schoolnet. In this capacity, Ulf W Lundin is the coordinator of several European projects with the E.U. like EUN Multimedia, European Treasury Browser, Valnet, dotSAFE, School Managers Centre, Comeniusspace and myEUROPE.
