Eelco is involved in various projects in the Netherlands and abroad. His main focus is on the design of knowledge infrastructures for organisations. Components of knowledge infrastructures that are of particular interest to him are communities of practice and corporate memories for sharing lessons learned. As a consultant, he is involved in lessons learned sharing programmes and debriefing work of professionals in organisations. Currently, he is the project manager of K2 and performed the same role in KLIF - a knowledge and learning infrastructure for the Esprit LTI programme. Among his recent clients are the Dutch Olympic Committee, Royal Automobile Club (UK), Bell Atlantic (USA), Unilever, ING Group, Shell, KLM, the Italian Ministry of Education and the Dutch Ministry of Internal Affairs. Furthermore, Eelco is a lecturer in Middlesex University MSc programmes, and course leader for a Knowledge Management Masterclass that is regularly presented in Holland and the UK. Eelco publishes regularly in the area of knowledge management and knowledge infrastructures and is invited as a speaker on these topics at international conferences.
